About REDUCE THE IMPACT OF RACISM ON BIRTH OUTCOMES: Sponsor a JumpStart Midwifery Student of Color
The CAM JumpStart program was designed to help students midwives of color soar through the NARM exam and build the community and strategies they need for a sustainable career improving outcomes for families of color.
The actual cost per participant - including appropriately compensating instructors of color, providing black-owned lodging, food from communities of color, a mock testing site and software, a library of practice questions, and more - is about $2,500.
We do not want costs to be a barrier for students of color. To keep the program affordable, we ask each participant to contribute only $400 of the $2500 cost.
JumpStart is funded by grants and individual donors like you. Your financial support makes it possible for us to keep costs to students low and offer additional scholarships when needed.
Please consider making a donation today:
$117 - the cost of one installment payment for one student’s registration fees*
$400 - the cost of application + registration for one student
